About Our Guest Instructors:

Ariel Barrionuevo

Ariel Barrionuevo is a highly acclaimed Tango dancer, instructor, and choreographer from Buenos Aires, Argentina. With over 27 years of experience, Ariel has performed and taught worldwide, sharing his passion for Tango and its cultural heritage. He is known for his unique teaching style, which emphasizes technique, connection, and musicality.

Noelia Sorokin

Noelia Sorokin, also from Argentina, brings more than 20 years of expertise in teaching the Milonguero style of tango. Her deep understanding and skillful instruction of this intimate and improvisational style of tango adds a valuable dimension to the workshop. Together with Ariel, they offer a comprehensive and enriching tango learning experience.

Workshop Schedule:

Levels: All levels, from beginner to advanced

Friday:

18:30 – 20:00: Fundamental technique for Tango dancing (all levels)
20:00 – 22:00: Practica

Saturday:

10:30 – 12:00: Basic turning movements in both directions (all levels)
13:30 – 15:00: Introduction to Waltz, basic movements and musical interpretation (all levels)
15:15 – 16:45: Elemental traspié milonga (all levels) or Milonga of stumbling in speed (intermediate/advanced)
19:00 – 23:00: Milonga

10:30 – 12:00: Technique for volleys, highlights, pivot, and ornaments (intermediate/advanced)
13:30 – 15:00: Movements for exhibition, stacking, off-axis, taken out with screw, glides with sweeps (advanced)
15:00 – 17:00: Practica
